Overview

VeriLens is a Chrome Extension that helps users identify AI-generated text and verify factual claims using trusted online evidence. Privacy and transparency are core principles of VeriLens. The extension processes only the text that a user explicitly selects for analysis and does not collect personal browsing information.

Only text explicitly selected by the user is sent to the backend for analysis.

✓ Secure Processing

Selected text is securely transmitted over HTTPS to the VeriLens backend hosted on Hugging Face Spaces.

How Your Data Is Used

Selected text is processed solely for:

AI-generated text detection

No user text is permanently stored after processing.

VeriLens never sells user data. We do not share user information with advertisers or marketing companies. Selected text is processed only to generate the requested analysis.

Security

Communication between the Chrome Extension and the backend is encrypted using HTTPS. Reasonable technical measures are employed to protect transmitted information.

Your Control

VeriLens performs analysis only when the user explicitly requests it. No background monitoring or automatic webpage collection occurs.
